The Lofts on Pearl is located in the restored J.A. Webb Building, in the heart of the Joseph Ellicott Historic District. The district represents the center of Ellicott's 1804 street plan for the village of Buffalo, and it retains a significant number of high-style civic, religious and commercial structures, many of which were designed by local and nationally prominent architects. The district contains architectural examples of Buffalo's history from the early nineteenth century to the mid-twentieth century. The Webb building was erected in 1888 and is among the last remnants in downtown Buffalo of nineteenth century buildings with ground floor cast-iron storefronts, and the best example of Richardson Romanesque commercial architecture remaining in Buffalo, echoing similar designs such as Old Trinity Church in Boston and the Old Post Office Building in Washington D.C.. The Webb building underwent major renovations to create the Lofts on Pearl in 2012, with as many original architectural elements as possible incorporated into the new design for guests to experience.
Today the Lofts on Pearl offers 31 unique accommodations at this all-suite property. Guests enjoy the perfect home base to explore all that the City of Buffalo’s recent renaissance has to offer, with expansive living spaces and full kitchens in all of the guest suites. The Webb building also offers guests the opportunity to experience a legendary Buffalo dining experience at the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery, adjacent to the hotel, as well as private event spaces highlighting historic architectural elements of the Webb building itself.
The Lofts on Pearl are proud to be a part of the Wyndham Hotel Group’s Trademark Hotel Collection, offering our guests access to the award-winning Wyndham Rewards program.
